Fiene: *Confusion intensifies*
Baldur: "But you gave your consent a minute ago?!"
He awakened the father instinct
I was waiting for Liese’s reaction after waking up, and she didn’t disappoint. It was hilarious, and then her fast monologue was top tier.
It was so wholesome when Sieg said that Liese will be a kind and wonderful mother, and then Liese short-circuited.
Honestly, Fabian's fear of men is understandable, considering what he had to go through. And I laughed my ass off when Sieg got jealous of him. Man got jealous of a shota. And the image of Liese and Fabian after 5 years – absolutely hilarious.
The second half was also funny and wholesome. I loved how Liese’s father thought that Fienne and Baldur were about to announce their marriage. And then his attitude change after Fiene called him Father was absolutely god tier.
“If you wish to wed this girl, you shall have to go through me first.”
Well, kind of a good thing that Fiene decided to take action there.
The father leaving the room like :- Awite imma head out.
Sieg's comment of "another rival appears", makes it better. who is the other rival he is talking about?
fienne getting used to her own romcom was fun too
Kobayashi: "Let's abandon Leon!"
Poor Leon. Getting dumped even before his arc starts. Thanks to Feine's mom he's still relevant.
Bruno before: "Do as your life depends on it"
Bruno after: "I won't give my daughter to you!"
Baldur: "Why a sudden difficulty spike?!"
Baldur: Bring it on
Poor Leon. Getting dumped even before his arc starts.
Considering everyone in that game can use magic, i guess the lategame recruitable shaman loses most of their appeal (and Art most likely makes for a better staffbot anyway)
No point for status effects debuffs if you can just one-shot a regular enemy at that point of the game, might as well be a buffer/healer
Also I was thinking the reason why probably due to the fact that they can develop the relationships of each character in their own pace, and the duo never bothered going through his arc in the first place
Nah it’s more of the fact he uses dark magic and forbidden arts and Leon would never help with anything if there’s even the slightest risk of that getting found out
Game wise you gotta start his route early or you’re fucked here it’s the same thing and honestly neither kobabyashi or endou want to ruin the Baldur fiene ship
And love is the only thing that would get Leon to move
Luckily for them he used to be fienes mothers apprentice so he’s willing to help
Fabian was supposed to be one of the original capture targets in this otome game? I guess that would be the shota route then. ^^;
Don't forget the original MC is Fiene though...
That doesn’t change what I said.
I keep forgettting that this is an otome game. So of there's shouta, prince, playboy, dark heart, and stone faced. The typical type.
The routes are:
Prince
Himbo
Playboy
Shota
Teacher
It's shota overload today. First Farming Life in Another World and now this.
Sieg: Listen, your daughter just passed out. I’m here to drop her o-
Bruno: MY DAUGHTER’S DREAM HAS FINALLY BEEN ACHIEVED
bruno:"the dream I tried to destroy"
First time we get to see Sieg tomato red and even jealous of a little boy lol. It was amusing when he compared his past self to Fabian, why was he even competing at this point?
Watching Bruno releasing his warrior aura because Fiene called him father was so funny and then it turning into a typical "You have to go through me if you want to wed my daughter" development made it even funnier, the two guys were way too serious.
And fienne basically telling them "you both stop" and reminding us she is basiclaly the one punch woman in that world
Classic tsundere will shout when she is too near with boy that she likes
How is it that all of these villaness and otome game anime are actually really good. We've had I think 4 of them now and every one has been a banger.
Truthfully it's just because the level of intellect, generally, has to be a bit higher for shoujo content that isn't just Cute Girls Doing Cute Things.
Shounen can get away with being absolutely braindead as long as there is some OP looking animation that is well directed.
Like that Realist General anime from a little while ago where he gets isekai'd and made the king was boring as fuck if you tried to watch it expecting a shounen anime.
But it was actually pretty interesting if you went into it understanding that it was going to focus on the impact of modern techniques and knowledge on medieval society on a social scale and the politics of trade between different factions.
I don't like Realist Hero because he is basically a fascist who eliminated the balance of power because not being fascist is inefficient, or something. I mean, he was training to be a bureaucrat but when he goes to another world he suddenly wants complete totalitarian control. Only a simple-minded person actually thinks that's a superior form of government, or that civil wars can be finished quickly with few casualties (the American one took four years and about a million people died, but Realist Hero's took a week and a half and killed...nobody?)
Also, real medieval people were actually pretty knowledgeable about a lot of things, they weren't all useless morons who would need to depend on a college undergrad.
Also, the MCs attempt at using a cooking show for propaganda is pretty weak. Church propaganda would be infinitely more powerful. Think of how powerful a hold on people's minds the Catholic Church used to have, and then you have an idea. I don't even remember a church existing in that show, which is silly. I mean, think about it. People invented propaganda a long time ago, but the show acts like no propaganda ever existed before the MC arrived on the scene.
Finally, I was pretty offended that the elves were depicted as dumb hippies who didn't know the first thing about forest management.
A better name for that show would be "Aho-sekai: I was summoned to a world of morons, and now I'm the smartest person in history!"
I wasn't a huge fan of your comment, until I read "I was summoned to a world of morons, and now I'm the smartest person in history" and now I really need a show that plays that trope to all hell, where the MC doesn't just become king, he dupes the morons in charge into giving him power, and every political issue or war is resolved by him being of average intelligence, but the enemies actually have wood for brains.
Shame that multiple generations of pope over the past few hundred years screwed everything up for the faith. We used to be so strong, but now we're just an easy target for people to make fun of our religion. Greed and Pride have been major failings of the Catholic Church, although that frequently happens with organisations that manage to last more than a few centuries.
I think King Souma was simply eliminating the potential threats that would bring ruin to the kingdom. Especially the corrupt nobles and the "opportunists". So ill say its justified to show a bit of tyranny. And when he does go drunk deep into power. She has a slave to kill him right off. Rather than that other realist prince being better, i think its better that both exist for their different PoV of saving the kingdom.
That why I like "Tensai Oujo no akaji kokka" aka Ninymu's armpits is much more
"how a realist hero saves the kingdom" is actually a really good story but the anime can't really do it justice. i suggest the light novel version. unfortunately, it falls into the harem category which is boring as far as romantic developments go. the good thing about most female lead stories is that harems are less likely. they tend to follow more of a "prince charming" scenario.
harems are not always bad but the majority of them are too basic such as "mc is op and saves girl > girl falls in love > repeat for 4+ girls." realist hero at least gave enough reason for the harem aspect being that the mc is a king and the country was lacking heirs to the throne. even though he was setting up the country to become a democricy eventually.
also, jobless reincarnation does harem better. it's not just that the mc is OP and saves his potential lovers, but all his lovers also know his corks and bad points. despite that, they care deeply about him anyways which adds a level of understanding and accepting the idea that they are willing to share their love with the same man.
Loved that anime. It goes full focus on the politics/ civ management aspect that already works pretty well in other anime. Just the animation could have used some more budget.
Realist Hero is actually one of my favourites out there with Mushoku Tensei in terms of story telling. Anime is average, but it does show some of the theory aspect such as "If animals are to humans, then are Monsters the Animals to Demons?" That makes you think that the plot is some "Early" Isekai" world before Otherworlders were summoned/Reincarnated/transported into that world. It blends it very well when you think about it.
Also nobody ever goes into one of these anime expecting there to be god-level choreographed and animated battles. So when the content starts to add tension in other ways or sometimes even crosses the line into god-tier battles it comes across a lot better than it would comparatively if they tried to fit in a more action oriented genre-niche.
People are calling Endo and kobayashi "Lovebirds" but neither of them show any disagreement. Does this mean they're agreeing to bring the Lovebirds?
I think since the Date episode, they have no reason to deny it, I mean Endo spends most of his time with Kobayashi even if it's for a game.
they are both dense or don't notice
Or they're too shy(when it comes to themselves) to do anything but expect to casually just slip into relationship mode.
aww Kobayashi and Endou being called a wife and husband so cute and Bruno suddenly became a overpowered Dad when Fiene called him father
great episode
YESSS!! Was really looking forward to this series yesterday!
When two overreactions require a greater one to stop them both...🤣🤣🤣
Nice episode.
If you think about this deeply:
The Father is competing with his nephew for his adopted daughter
Thats wild
his adoptive daughter is his actual niece, so and so his nephew from one family wants to marry his niece from another family.
i guess now would be a good time to remind that cousin marriage is legal in Japan and isn't considered incest in the majority of the world.
So this is what they mean when they said “keeping the bloodline pure”
ALABAMA
aaaa get to see more reactions from sieg I feel blessed >////<
Fiene calling Bruno papa is so OP that it awakened Bruno's aura!~~~ I swear Fiene is becoming the (second) best girl here!
"She called me Father" powerup! If you wish to wed this girl, you shall have to go through me first! XD
